How does esense intuitive drive support work?

This is how drive support works: esense intuitive drive support makes it easier to move heavy (medical, logistics or other) equipment by responding directly to the user’s natural movement. The system includes an electric drive wheel with built-in force sensors that measure how much push force is applied. Based on that input, the system provides just the right amount of assistance — instantly and automatically.

The effect is similar to an electric bicycle: the more effort you use, the more support you get. This makes it much easier to manoeuver mobile equipment like patient carts, trolleys, lifts, hospital beds and stretchers, while reducing physical strain on the user.

Intelligent support that adapts to you

Unlike traditional powered systems that rely on buttons or joysticks, Esense intuitive drive support responds directly to the caregiver’s movement. The system senses the push and immediately activates the drive wheel, providing smooth, proportional assistance. This enables controlled, precise movement — even in tight corridors, on slopes, or across thresholds.
