Overview
The esense Line passive patient hoist combines accurate lifting and positioning with intuitive electric drive support. The patented 360° drive wheel makes the Line easy to manoeuvre, even in small and confined spaces. Smart ergonomic features help reduce physical strain for care staff and support safer moving and handling in healthcare.

The patented esense 360° drive wheel allows the Line patient hoist to manoeuvre in any direction. Forward, backward, turning and even sideways: the electric drive support responds intuitively to the user’s movements.
This makes the passive patient hoist quick and easy to manoeuvre with minimal physical effort, particularly in confined spaces and around beds, chairs and other obstacles.
The Line is a passive column hoist with a fully vertical lifting movement, allowing the patient to be positioned accurately over a bed, chair or toilet. The 4-point electric spreader bar (Dynamic Positioning System) makes it easy to move the patient from a sitting to a lying position and back. The Line is available in four models with different arm lengths and lifting capacities.
About electric drive supportThe Line supports ergonomic patient moving and handling with Ergo-feedback and PowerTalk. Ergo-feedback provides an immediate warning when too much force is used while manoeuvring the patient hoist, helping healthcare staff reduce physical strain and supporting good moving and handling practices in line with HSE guidance. The PowerTalk application provides additional insight into hoist usage, including push and pull forces and physical strain during everyday use.

The Line combines a high lifting range with fast vertical movement. From lifting a patient from the floor to positioning at bed height, the Line supports smooth and efficient patient transfers. The high-capacity NiMH battery has a short charging time of 4.5 hours, helping keep the patient lift ready for daily use. An optional weighing system can be integrated into the lifting arm, allowing the patient to be weighed during the transfer without additional steps. A Class III weighing system is also available.

What others say
"...rewarded for making only a small physical effort."
“The more gentle you control the lift, the easier it moves. You are rewarded for making only a small physical effort.”

Bart Brinkhuis
Ergonomics coach, Liberein
“…control the lift with just a finger!”
“The days we needed our full body weight to move the patient are history. Now we control the lift with just a finger.”
